Stroomdoos

Stems in.
Session out.

MixPrep puts your multitrack WAV files on their own tracks in Logic Pro, in one batch. Named, grouped, coloured and routed.

macOS 14 or newer · Apple Silicon · Logic Pro 12.4 tested

MixPrep main window: nine stems with their group and their name in Logic, and Import to Logic with its options on the right.

Four steps. One batch.

  1. Drop the WAVs

Drag a folder or a selection. MixPrep reads the sample rate, channels and length before anything is touched.

  2. Name and group

Groups are suggested from the filenames. Rename, move and check the order in one list.

  3. Prepare copies

Working copies get your names and order. Your originals stay exactly where they are.

  4. Import to Logic

One track per file, coloured and routed to your buses.

Names. Groups. Colours.
Routing. Strip Silence.

About

MixPrep is made by Luc Siegers in the Netherlands, under the name Stroomdoos (/ˈstroːmdoːs/, Dutch for power box).

It is a test version for now. It is built for Logic Pro 12.4 on Apple Silicon and only claims what has been tested in Logic.
